These terms apply to your use of Goala apps, websites, features, content, subscriptions, and related services provided by us.

Goala is a wellness, fitness, and nutrition app that helps you log meals, track goals, view progress, and receive estimates or information related to eating habits.

The information displayed by Goala is for informational and personal organizational purposes only. Goala does not replace medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, prescription, nutritional guidance, or any recommendation from a health professional.

If you have a medical condition, take medication, are on GLP-1 treatment, have dietary restrictions, or have questions about your health, seek professional guidance before making decisions based on the app.

You are responsible for providing accurate information, maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, and for all activities that occur under your account.

You must use Goala lawfully, respectfully, and in compliance with these terms. You may not attempt to access systems, data, or accounts of third parties without authorization, interfere with the operation of the service, or use the app for illegal, abusive, or fraudulent purposes.

We may suspend or terminate access to Goala if we identify misuse, violation of these terms, security risk, fraud, legal requirement, or conduct that harms the service or other users.

You retain your rights to photos, meal logs, responses, preferences, goals, and other content you submit to Goala.

By submitting content to the app, you grant us permission to process, store, analyze, display, and use that content to the extent necessary to operate, personalize, protect, and improve the service.

You represent that you have the rights or permissions necessary to submit the content to Goala and that it does not violate third-party rights, applicable laws, or these terms.

Goala may generate estimates of calories, macronutrients, foods, portions, and other nutritional data based on information you submit, integrations, models, databases, or processing providers.

These estimates may contain inaccuracies, omissions, or variations compared to the actual food, preparation method, brand, portion size, or individual needs.

You are responsible for reviewing the displayed information, adjusting logs when necessary, and deciding how to use the data presented by the app.

Some Goala features may require a subscription, in-app purchase, trial period, or other payment. Prices, plans, benefits, and availability may vary by country, platform, app store, or current promotion.

Purchases and subscriptions made through the App Store, Google Play, or other platforms are processed by the respective stores and are also subject to their terms, billing, renewal, cancellation, and refund policies.

Except as required by law or applicable platform rules, payments already made may not be refundable. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in the settings of the store or platform where the purchase was made.

The processing of personal data by Goala is described in our Privacy Policy. It explains what data we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and what rights you may exercise.

By using Goala, you acknowledge that the operation of the service depends on processing data necessary for your account, logs, personalization, subscriptions, support, security, and app improvement.

Goala, including its brand, layout, text, images, software, features, interfaces, databases, code, design, and other service elements, belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

These terms do not transfer any ownership rights to you, except for a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, and non-transferable license to use the service in accordance with these terms.

We may modify, suspend, replace, or discontinue Goala features at any time, including for maintenance, improvement, security, legal compliance, or product decisions.

While we strive to keep the service available and secure, we do not guarantee that Goala will operate without interruptions, errors, delays, data loss, or compatibility issues with all devices, systems, or versions.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Goala is provided as-is and as available, without warranties that it will meet all your expectations, health goals, nutritional objectives, or personal results.

We are not liable for decisions made solely based on the app, for incorrect information provided by you, for third-party failures, for unavailability of external platforms, or for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages.

Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be excluded or restricted by applicable law.

We may update these Terms of Use periodically to reflect changes in Goala, legal requirements, features, subscriptions, or our operational practices.

When material changes occur, we may communicate them through appropriate channels. Continued use of Goala after an update indicates acceptance of the new terms.
